We had another great turnout (about 100 neighbors) at our Heller Park Neighbors meeting last night.
1. We learned more about the work of the South Peoria Neighborhood Connection Foundation (SPNCF) from Lanny Endicott and we elected their board members and approved a change in their bylaws. For more information about the SPNCF, you may visit their website or contact Lanny Endicott at 830-1523.
2. We saw a presentation from City Planner, David Simmons about the Riverwood Neighborhood Plan. You can see David's presentation as well as the full plan by clicking on the links at the left of this webpage. We didn't have much time for neighbors to give input or ask questions, so we are encouraging everyone to email David at dsimmons@cityoftulsa.org or call him at 596-2600. You may also email us at info@hellerpark.org and we'll pass your comments to David.
3. We listened to our three candidates for district 9 city council. On April 1, we will be choosing one of these candidates to represent our neighborhood in the city council. For more information about each candidate, you can visit their websites and read their answers to the Tulsa World and TulsaNow questionnaires.
