It was discussed that any changes to the bylaws would be considered by the board, when submitted in writing by those concerned. Bylaws will be made available via the Heller Park Neighbors website. Heller Park Neighbors Updates:

1) Index cards were provided at the meeting for attendees to write down questions / concerns. They will be read at the upcoming board meeting, to gauge neighborhood interests and guide future meetings, discussions, activities, etc.

2) mowing of the park will be conducted every 2 weeks by a City of Tulsa contractor, weather permitting. In the event that the park cannot be mowed at the scheduled time, Heller Park Neighbors is calling for a “mowing crew” that can come and get the job done. Individuals interested in being a part of the crew, please contact Millard Burgess.

3) The problem of disappearing yard signs for meeting noticed was discussed. One idea would be to have volunteers display those signs in their own yard, so as not to interfere w/ city rules regarding yard signs. Anyone interested in displaying meeting notice yard signs in their own yard, please contact Sylvia Spilman.

4) A box for donations will be set at the back table of each public meeting of Heller Park Neighbors. Meeting attendees are encouraged to donate, for Heller Park Neighbors to carry on its operations, activities, meetings, purchase meeting / administrative supplies, etc.

Meeting adjourned at 8:45 p.m.

Minutes submitted by Secretary, Carlos Moreno.
